Blogspot provides information to me, showing where viewers come from and what they are looking at. I have been both fascinated and impressed by the numbers, particularly from the past six months.
Until this past September, I hadn't actively posted on here for quite a while. In 2011 for instance, I only posted three times. Back in September of last year I decided to go through some old papers and religious publications that my dad had given to me. As I came across articles that I though were interesting and worth sharing, I decided to reprint them on here. As a result, 2012 saw 83 postings on here and already this year I've added 44. I had no idea who, if anyone would look at them.
Apparently people from all over the world have found something here they like. I'm sure some folks have stumbled across this site. Maybe they've looked once and never returned. However, it appears that many continue to come back. For that I am thankful. I'm thankful that I've been able to contribute something positive and something that others can use.
Perhaps you'll find these numbers interesting as well. As of this writing, this site has been viewed a total of 1940 times. Though the majority of readers come from the United States, in the past week people from Germany, Russia, China and the Ukraine have visited here. At a minimum, there are roughly 80 to 120 users looking at some content on here. Some weeks there are more. Besides the countries listed above, the last month has also brought visitors from Ireland, Australia, the United Kingdom and Venezuela.
As for the total number of visitors, the "top 10" all time in this order are from the United States, Germany, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, France, Canada, Ireland, Malaysia and the Ukraine. The top three most viewed posts are one I made in 2010 concerning the flood in Nashville, TN (probably because of the pictures I included), a post about Acts 2:38 and one concerning infant baptism. I find that interesting.
I'm very pleased that so many people have found value in what they read here and I hope each of you continue to return, tell others and share the information you find on here. Remember that you are able to leave comments and/or questions at the bottom of each post. You can also "grade" the content of each post. I encourage you to take advantage of those options, particularly if you have a question about anything you read on here.
Thank you again for visiting this site. I would love to see more interaction on here but most importantly I hope the content has been beneficial to your life and your faith.
